I have never been part of a meeting that was as productive as our first for day of planning for Innovation Day. I just feel so accomplished! At the beginning of the day we had great ideas bouncing all around that conference room. We had an enlightening discussion about what each of us would study on our own innovation day, everything from cake decorating, to trees, to bigfoot. Bigfoot, really! I love how other people think. This discussion ultimately lead to a video of the discussion so we could model the brainstorming process for our students. That in turn lead to a video of students doing the same thing.
We were definitely feeding off each others' ideas and it was brilliant!
